The USCIS refers to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. On July the 17th 2007, the USCIS made an announcement that, it will start accepting employment-based applications to adjust status (Form I-485) filed by those whose priority dates are current under the July Visa Bulletin, No. 107. It will also accept I-485 adjustment of status applications until August 17, 2007. The current fee schedule will apply to all applications Adjustment of Status applications filed under Visa Bulletin No. 107 through August 17, 2007 and the applications that are already filed with the USCIS will also be accepted.
