Position Staffing

BidShift Flexible Workforce Management Technology is a new technology launched from Columbus Regional Healthcare and Houston Healthcare of VHA Georgia and Phoenix Health Care Management Technology. It is implemented to online open shift scheduling system at Columbus Regional Healthcare System of Columbus, Georgia, and Healthcare of Houston Country. It will reduce the reliance on expensive contract labor and transforms what traditionally has been a time and labor intensive manual process.
This technology is recommended by VHA Georgia member hospitals to train the qualified staff and bring cost-effective and excellence patient care.

According to Wayne Joiner, VP of Human Resources at Columbus Regional Healthcare, this technology is a better way to manage both monetary and non-monetary incentives for their nursing staff. And they are confident about this open-shift scheduling system, since it will increase the nursing job satisfaction and reduce staffing vacancies.

The Hospitals implementing the BidShift Technology, the nursing staff uses the technology from work or home for identifying available shifts and make online request for shifts that matches their skills. This gives staffs more choice and flexibility over the shifts they work, making employees satisfied and retaining them. It also helps in the recruitment of eligible staff.
